UK’s first title dedicated to long-distance running designed by WDC
The UK’s first printed magazined dedicated to long-distance running has been launched entitled, Ultra. It celebrated the ultra community of runners, friends and families plus volunteers and race organisations. The magazine had previously launched six issues but the brand decided to look towards a re-design and approached WDC (Stuart Weston and Kate Weston), based in Surrey, for their support. The team at WDC began by creating all content including direction, editorial design and illustration allowing them to focus on the emotional and immersive nature of ultra running. The selection of images below champion how awesome their approach has been and how the vision WDC had compliments the ethos of the publication.
