The highly impressive Canadian Biennial

For the 2017 Canadian Biennial, the National Gallery of Canada exhibited a new selection of acquisitions including contemporary art and work from the Canadian National Photography Institute. The incredible team at Toronto based Underline Studio were asked to create the exhibition catalogue, something they elevated beyond belief.

They brought about bringing the wide spectrum of work together by focusing on simplicity. This not only allowed the work to shine but brought a sense of pride and identity to the work. They fostered typography for the cover utilising print finishes including foils to illuminate the individuals included.
