SPACE10 collaborate to show how shared-living can help the affordable housing crisis
SPACE10 is an organisation that exists to enable a better, more meaningful and sustainable life for many. They are on a mission to explore and design new ways of living from conceptual processes to sustainable and affordable ideas. SPACE10 is a truly remarkable collective of innovative ideas and inspiring individuals.
One such project is their collaboration with the students at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. SPACE10 invited young people to design five speculative shared-living spaces for construction in 2030. SPACE10 believe this, shared living approach, could be the solution to problems such as rapid urbanisation, the lack of affordable housing and loneliness.
The designs below celebrate their ideas and as a double-whammy we were blown away by the incredible supporting illustrations which were created by Yime, a truly spectacular illustrator who has fleshed out the ideas of those involved.
