Slam Dunk hits the back of the net

We have just returned for the 2018 edition of Slam Dunk Festival and we cannot believe how much of a blast we had. This three site festival across Leeds, Hatfield and Birmingham brought together a monster line-up of energetic rock ‘n’ roll that captivated each audience and left them wanting a whole lot more.

We got up and close to the acts over at the NEC & Genting Arena, Birmingham. Bands including Everytime I Die, StateChamps, Sleeping Sirens and Taking Back Sunday delivered raw, bold tracks that thundered amongst the eager crowd. Screams raised the roof, lyrics shattered the atmosphere and bouncing feet stole the show.

To top the line-up Jimmy Eat World and Good Charlotte delivered exceptional sets that seal their status as the godfather’s of the genre. American, skate-pop has never been stronger and with increased interest in the niche we can only see it going from strength-to-strength.
