Rye Here Rye Now delivering a forward-thinking approach to creative networking

As a community that aims to bring together creative people from all industries we believe that working unitedly will make the future of creativity stronger. Since our conception we’ve meet and shared the work of many like-minded makers and doers, so when we came across Rye Here Rye Now we knew we’d found a community that was driven by the same ethos as us.

Based in Peckham, London, Rye Here, Rye now is a monthly meet-up for creatives across genres including design, illustration, photography and film-making. Founded by graphic designers, Miho Aishima and Kat Garner, the idea is to rip-up the old concept of networking in favour of meaningful connections and collaborations. The team said “Meeting people online is great, but we still believe in the value of meeting in person and having proper conversations.”

Activities at Rye Here Rye Now meet-ups include drawing, facilitated networking and the sharing of events and collaborative opportunities. Rye Here Rye Now has also collaborated with Pempeople, Tate Exchange and Peckham Festival to host talks, exhibitions, and fairs. There next event is at the end of January 2019 and tickets can be found on Eventbrite.
