Despite having 3.3 billion fewer transistors, the AMD Radeon 5700 XT features the same number of stream processors (roughly equivalent to “CUDA” cores, in Nvidia-speak) as the RTX 2070 Super. It also has an identical base clock, as well as the same memory-bus width and peak memory-bandwidth rating.
Are AMD drivers still bad?
AMD drivers have been absolute garbage since mid 2019, first they broke OCing, and now they’ve broken full system stability altogether. Also the driver UI itself often isn’t there (just a transparent window), or doesn’t work/is laggy.
